Mirar

Esta obra exhibe miradas de distintas identidades, físicamente similares, pero que no corresponden al mismo ser. La mirada de Sebastián Calfuqueo, Marcela Monsalve y Millaray Calfuqueo están dispuestas en esta instalación fotográfica que intenta cuestionar al espectador a quién corresponde cada una de estos fragmentos. A su costado se exhibe un retrato de Marcela y Sebastián que propone tensar las relaciones entre lo femenino y masculino de la imagen de ambos.

To gaze

(2019) Photographic installation: 5 photographs of 100×66,7 cm.

Diverse gazes of different identities are assimilated by their physical features, but those gazes do not correspond to the same being. The gaze of Sebastian Calfuqueo, Marcela Monsalve and Millaray Calfuqueo are placed within this photographic installation, which tries to question the viewer on who is each one of the fragments. Next to it, there is a portrait of Marcela and Sebastián, which tightens the relationship between what is masculine and what is feminine in their images.
